Welcome to the second edition of Latest News from the Dogumentarian

Dear Friend of Dogumentarian,

This is just a brief newsletter to keep you up-to-date on what's fresh with the Dogumentarian -- travels, events, projects and discount opportunities -- as well a to introduce you to some of the Dogumentarian's favorite things in the world of dogs. I hope you can take a few minutes to read on and support the passion of the Dogumentarian.

New Venture

So much about my life is based on my love of dogs. For years I've boarded friend's dogs from time to time and it's worked well for all involved; I work from home with Dogumentarian so I'm around, I've got a huge fenced yard, live in a great walking neighborhood and I have a good understanding of dogs in general.

Now I'm making it official with the formation of Sit Stay Sleep: Home Away from Home Dog Boarding. If you live in the San Francisco Bay area, especially the East Bay, and need to board your dog please contact me. The website is still under construction but you can get the basics at www.sitstaysleep.com.

Events

Muttville Fundraiser -Come out and support Muttville, an amazing San Francisco based non-profit organization that specializes in placing older dogs in permanent homes. I've donated a few items to their Saturday, June 13 fundraising event (www.moolahformutts.org) and will be there in person to show my support.

People (and dogs!) are taking to the streets--On rotating Sundays throughout the summer, the city of San Francisco will be closing different streets to promote walking and communing. (We'd like to think it was about dogs, but it's likely more encompassing.) But dogs are welcome at these events! I will be out showing my Dogumentarian work and enjoying the free events. You will be able to find me in the 'dog area'. I'll be participating at the Bayview Opera House, July 19th in the Mission and August 9th along the Great Highway. Check out the http://sundaystreetssf.com website for route maps and event information.
